It is easier to find on foot
We are halfway down the mall on the shaded side, in the low stone building with the wire strung across the window. There is no neon and there never will be.
The mall is closed to traffic, so park on the cross street and walk in — it is two minutes at most and considerably less frustrating.
The door is heavy and it sticks in the heat. Push harder rather than assuming we are shut.
Driving
Park on the cross street; the mall itself is pedestrian.
Walking
Halfway along the shaded side, look for the wire in the window.
Late
Doors stay open until one; the desk answers until then.

- How late can I book for tonight?
- Until seven, and after that only if something clears.
- Is a deposit needed?
- Never. We take the booking on trust and you can undo it the same way.
- Can I hold a card table?
- Two of the six, for up to six players.

- Up to fourteen, with three weeks' notice and one phone call.
